Greg Scrivener, P. Eng.

Greg Scrivener began in the refrigeration industry as an apprentice refrigeration mechanic in 1997. From technical equipment service to design and project management, Greg has experience in almost all aspects of the design, construction, operation and maintenance of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. He also has the expertise necessary to contribute to investigations and to prepare expert opinion reports.

Greg completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan in 2011 and is a registered Professional Engineer. He is also a fully licensed Journeyperson Refrigeration Mechanic and Gas Fitter. Greg is a member of the International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR), the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) and is currently serving on multiple technical and standard committees for ASHRAE.

Krystin Nickel, P. Eng.

Krystin Nickel joined Cold Dynamics in 2017 with a background in environmental, geotechnical and project engineering. Krystin is an integral part of our mechanical integrity and ammonia safety portfolio and has significant experience in ammonia hazard assessment and emergency planning. 

Krystin completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in 2009 and is a registered Professional Engineer. She has also completed advanced training on the design of energy efficient industrial ammonia refrigeration systems from the University of Wisconsin.
